MEHANAASE BE ARTZENUThe headlines of the daily newspaper and the headlines of the news screens are expressed in vigorous sentences, impatient and with minimum tolerant. This is an aggressive marketing of the political, social and cultural news and events in which we live. Industrial design is usually built on long processes and milestones. A quick and immediate response to these issues is not part of the "toolbox" of an industrial designer. This elective studio is designed for students who are interested in responding quickly to current events. In the studio, the students will be asked to identify and respond to these news headlines. Responses will be submitted in a weekly / bi-weekly rhythm, with each student displaying the specific title selected along with his / her 3D, 2D, video, or other response. This confrontation between identification and expression requires summarization and reduction, the refinement of the reaction in a real-time response. The studio will be a live magazine with discussions about the products and parallel lectures of guests and artists that respond to these issues in their creative work. Collaboration during the semester: weekly publication of one or more works in 'Portfolio Magazine' ; a collaboration with Yuval Saar - Editor in Chief
