The course will deal with the practical and theoretical implications of 360 degree photography in the virtual reality world and how video, narrative and critical language are reflected in this new medium. During the course, we will explore the connections and contradictions between conventional photography and all-around photography while examining virtual reality-based video works and in various ways that they offer an alternative to moving images. The students will work with Humaneyes 360 virtual reality cameras and will learn editing and sound of virtual reality. At the end of the course, the participants will be required to submit a personal completion project.
