The course addresses the role designers have in the digital media landscape as brand builders, leaders of initiatives and products which have an impact on today's digital landscape. During the course, students will get acquainted with different success stories of products and initiatives in which the designers role was critical to their success. The class will meet entrepreneurs and investors and learn the processes and ingredients needed for producing valuable interactive experiences. During the semester the students will engage in a central assignment in which they will lead a project from its initial idea: from concept through research, design and to its final representation. The course does not require strong technical capabilities and is tuned for designers with the passion for inventing and initiating interactive products.
