In the course we will explore manual Hebrew lettering, conduct design processes that will begin with drawing, scribbling, lettering by hand and continue with styling, refinement, digitizing and creating an original and legible piece of typography (a logotype, sentence, title or slogan).During the course we will work in class, alongside short presentations that will overview historical and contemporary lettering conventions from various worlds (shop signs, posters, coffee shop blackboards, graffiti, dynamic and interactive typography etc.).
