ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is Israel’s premier arts academy and is synonymous with over 100 years of innovation and quality.
Curated by the head of the Ceramics and Glass Design Department, Prof. Muli Ben Sasson, Bezalel on Tour includes the best of the contemporary works of Bezalel graduates from the last five years from all of Bezalel’s Academic Departments: Fine Arts, Architecture, Photography, Ceramic and Glass Design, Industrial Design, Jewelry and Fashion, Visual Communication and
Screen-Based Arts, as well as works from its graduate programs: Master of Design and Master in Fine Arts.
In 2012-2013 the exhibition stopped at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Sotheby’s in Chicago, The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Cleveland, The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
It will travel to New York in the spring/summer of 2013.
The Bezalel on Tour Exhibition will be on view at both the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts (154 Angell Street) and the Brown RISD Hillel Gallery (80 Brown Street) from February 28 through March 13.
