The Competition, the first documentary on architectural competitions, which has grown into a cult movie among architects, offers an intimate look at the inner workings of five of the most prestigious architectural firms (Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Dominique Perrault, Zaha Hadid, and Norman Foster) as they prepare for an international competition.
The film follows behind the scenes of the intricacies and processes that shed light on how starchitects design their buildings … and their public image.
