Israeli-Italian Design Week

(22.5-25.5.2017, )

We are happy to host a collaboration between the Industrial Design department at Bezalel and the Institute of Italian Culture in Tel Aviv directed by Mr. Massimo Sarti.

This was initiated with the goal to create a cultural conjunction between Italy and Israel in the field of industrial design .

The program will start with a three and half days workshop that will be run by three leading Italian designers together with third year students studying Industrial Design  at Bezalel. The goal of the program is to expose the young students to knowledge, ideas, experiences and working methods from leading Italian designers.

The workshop will explore a unique design theme that concerns both Italian and Israeli design. At the end of the workshop, the students “fruits” will be presented to the Italian and Israeli designers from the department staff. The second part of the program will be a few lectures that will be delivered by designers about their works or another subject which they will choose, in front of the entire Industrila Design department and other visiting guests from outside the Academy .
