This jewelry series deals with two extreme experiences - the constant dissonance between longing for human touch and loathing it The experience of desiring physical contact is not separate from wanting a spiritual connection.

The images seen in the jewelry are hybrids of body parts created by my illustrations that relate to gestures of physical encounter between two people. These hybrids have existed for many years in a recurring dream, in which they try to touch me without success. During a first encounter between a person and the jewelry of the series, instinctive body gestures, control over the objects and the choice of how to touch them, enable the person observing the situation to examine the partner’s desires for the human encounter.
