This project is the result of my thinking about the human body’s boundaries, and the intimate space around it. The objects I created and designed for the body are not necessarily wearable, but are more of a signal of its presence. Through them, we touch and can be touched, observe and can are observed and sense the outside world. As part of my research process, I grew tea fungi, Kombucha, of which I created sheets that look like the human skin. The sheets hang in space as screens of different body parts, sometimes revealing and sometimes veiling them.

Materials:
Tea fungus (Kombucha) - These fungi grew in crust layers on the box surface.

I also used:
Pearls
Tulle
Iron
