Is it possible to teach textile to take on a certain shape? To embed the memory of volume in it?
The idea of a flexible structure in which skin and bones function as one unit, just like in nature, served as the starting point for the project and guided me in my attempts to push the boundaries of the soft material. Through material research the project examines a unique technique for developing complex volumes in textiles. The method is based on fixing patterns in a stretched textile and on the morphologies created when it is released.
