Basma Esseileh, Unfinished, 2019, Fine Arts
The name of the exhibition “Unfinished” refers to the fact that most of the paintings are brought to display while they are still in process. In her paintings, Basma uses watercolors, acrylics, mirrors and frames, alongside various techniques such as cutting cloth, attaching glass to it, and then burning them altogether. Parts of the big works were cut into frames and thus dismantled.
