Documentary installation

September 2017
Menora Mivtachim Arena

During the "Acharei Kol Hashanim (After All these Years)” album tour, Omer Adam stood in front of the audience and said/asked/sang/demanded:
“Take out your phones for a second, now, go to your stories”.
The arena lights went out, flashing phones took over the place.
The thousands of people in the crowd are documenting.
A single moment – brief and elapsing, captured and memorialized from every angle possible and posted on social media.
This musical-social event became the climax of Omer Adam’s shows.

Tughud Omer Adam
32 years old from Sudan, has been in Israel for eight years as an asylum seeker.
Living in the south of Tel Aviv.
He is a social activist in the refugee community in Israel.
Fled Sudan following threats to his life.

In the installation:
1. Eleven speakers placed on “Keter Plastic” chairs.
2. A dialogue between a 10-chorus choir, conducted by Itamar Cohen, quoting Omer Adam's requests and Tughud Omer’s testimony
