Bachelor's Degree & Master's Degree Programs

The tuition fees at Bezalel are determined by the Council for Higher Education and are the same as those charged by the universities.

In addition to the tuition fee, students at the Bezalel Academy are required to pay for additional services, as outlined below:
• Expenses associated with the use of materials and tools at the various laboratories and workshops: the charge ranges between 300 and 1,000 NIS, according to the department where the student studies. In addition to this charge, students acquire the materials they would need over the course of their studies independently.
• In some inter-departmental courses such as lithography workshops, photography courses, etc., students will be charged for the use of materials and workshops. The actual charge will be announced at the beginning of the academic year.
• Security charge.
• Student union membership fee.

In accordance with the government's decision, tuition fees at institutes of higher education in Israel for bachelor's degree students have been reduced between 2002 and 2011. In the academic year 2011, the tuition fee for bachelor's degree programs was 9,351 NIS (after said reduction). According to the directives of the Planning & Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education, we wish to point out that in the event that the Bezalel Academy does not receive the government's coverage for the entire reduction by the academic year 2012, students would have to pay the full tuition fees, without reduction. The tuition fee is linked to the Consumer's Price Index in effect on the date of payment. The aforementioned reduction will not apply to students in the master's degree programs.

Students who are foreign citizens and Israeli students receiving full or partial financing in the context of labor agreements or wages agreements between employees and employers, or in the context of institutionalized, government or other public financing, will pay a tuition fee that is 25% higher than the full tuition fee (this extra percentage will not apply to recipients of the military deposit funds and to students financed by the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption).
Students of the Master of Industrial Design program will pay a tuition fee in accordance with the credit points to which they had actually registered. The value of a credit point – the full tuition fee divided by 30.
