Date:
10.6.21

The Research & Innovation Authority and 212 Lab at Bezalel Academy held a special international online event focusing on the interaction between Design and Healthcare. In recent years, Bezalel Academy has been promoting a number of groundbreaking projects in this field, partnering with industrial companies, governmental offices and hospitals in Israel and around the world.

During the event we introduced some of these projects: Project SHAPE, in collaboration with Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY, focuses on developing tools for early discovery of Melanoma; Project FLORENCE, in collaboration with Soroka University Medical Center, set up a designated design lab for Bezalel Students within the hospital; Project ATTUNE, in collaboration with the University of Tokyo, is developing a sound-based home diagnostic tool; and Project GREY-LIGHT in collaboration with MDBiosciences, is developing methods for measuring pain.
