Design + Mobility
Transportation is one of the means for creating a fair, equal and enabling society. The possibilities of a person's mobility in space bring him closer to much needed services such as medicine, education and employment. Accessibility to transportation creates opportunities and enables mobility which is not only physical but social as well. Traditionally, transportation designers take into account parameters such as engineering infrastructures, traffic congestion and cost-benefit considerations.
Entering the field of planning with design tools enables us as designers to place the user, the civilian, and the person travelling in the center, to understand the needs better, the source of motivation for a specific action, as well as creating an optimal travel experience.
The design management track of the Industrial Design Master's Program invites you to the #6 Design Management Meet-up which will deal in future transportation.
