Lecture & Workshop with Freo Majer

Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem and Forecast Condensed invites to a lecture and a workshop with Freo Majer, the Founder and Artistic Director of Forecast, Berlin, and the initiator of the international research programs Driving the Human and Housing the Human.

In his Lecture, Majer will discuss founding Forecast, a program offering artists and creative thinkers from anywhere in the world the chance to work with accomplished mentors toward bringing their projects to fruition. Through festivals, workshops, discursive events, and publications, it provides insight into creative production processes, and carve out space for the questions on the minds of the next generation of trailblazers.

Right after his lecture, Majer will host a closed Forecast Condensed workshop that offers creative individuals and collectives from a wide range of disciplines the opportunity to examine projects and to enhance their chances of success. Artists, curators, designers, and other creative practices are invited to apply for participation - each project will be deeply discussed and evaluated in an intensive joint workshop, and those involved receive constructive and stimulating criticism.

In the workshop, participants will enhance their chances of submission to Forecast new Open Call.
