Keep In Touch | Efrat Berger

The Department of Screen-Based Arts invites you to the fourth meeting in the series “Keep in Touch,” with department graduates, hosted by Efrat Berger.

Efrat Berger, a director and editor, is a graduate of the Department of Screen-Based Arts at Bezalel (2015), and the Cultural Studies Program at the Hebrew University. Her first film 'Nothing Special' (2024, France-Israel, 14’), a mixed-media docu-animation, premiered at Clermont Ferrand, won the Audience Award at Hot Docs and was acquired for distribution on Canal+. Her award-winning final project film, 'Gesundlich' (2015), was screened at DocAviv and festivals around the world and was broadcast on YesDocu. She has edited animated films that were screened in Zagreb, Annecy and other festivals. 'Letter to a Pig' (2022, dir. Tal Kantor), which she edited, was nominated for an Oscar. Efrat is currently developing her next short film titled 'La Fosse'.
