Portfolio | Haim Yosef, graduate of the Department of Photography, behind the scenes of chefs in restaurants
With the outbreak of the war, the graduate of the photography department, the photographer Haim Yosef, who is currently engaged in food and culinary photography, decided to document what was happening in the restaurants that had become emergency hubs, providing food to evacuees and soldiers. Photographs from the series will be shown at the "Now!" exhibition in Old Jaffa.
"In documentary photography I try to be present as little as possible, to try to allow the situations to remain as natural as possible. If I recognize the conduct I can manage to catch the moments in between, which are the more interesting. I'm here for the people: somehow it turned out that this whole series is about people who went out to volunteer for people who went out to fight."
