In the courses Selected topics in relation to Jewellery and Metalwork 1+2 the students will study themes connected to the field from ancient times to the present, as well as questions concerning its presumed role in the future. The historical, conceptual and material examination will be constructed in layers , from numerous perspectives and selected subjects. The subjects will considered in connection to materials, ideas, the development of the profession, the discourse of the field and the social and economic concepts associated with it
