Drawing

Sketching is an ancient artistic practice that over generations has been used by artists to create outlines but also as a work in itself. The course will allow students to get closer to the field of drawing and to have practical and experiential experience in its various aspects: classic and traditional technical practice, experience with contemporary techniques and forms in drawing, drawing as a tool for sharpening visual perception and expression, drawing as a tool for developing the thought and concept of projects. Later in the course we will deal with the interdisciplinary encounter between drawing and other visual practices. The class will include practical practice in the classroom, lectures and theoretical introduction to drawings, impressions and artists who use drawing in an interdisciplinary manner, homework, submissions and class review.
