Alternative Comics

Not only tough guys in tight. Comics was already established long ago, as an independent medium, combining text and images endless combinations. As such it is a perfect tool for self-expression for illustrators and storytellers . The course will treat comics in the broadest sense as a narrative told in a series of pictures ( Sequential Art). we will deal with writing script, text adaptation , creating and understanding a layout, rhythm and style. The final project is to create an original comic book. The course will be accompanied by lectures and examples of artists from the contemporary scene . The course is suitable for storytellers with a tendency to illustrate who are able to work independently
