The course will focus on a series of classic and contemporary graphical methodologies used by urban designers to analyze and advance ideas and possibilities for the built environment. The course will be composed of short weekly lectures and individual exercises, from which the students will develop two- and three-dimensional working methods and a variety of relevant digital tools for representing, analyzing and designing different spatial elements. Each of the exercises will include a spatial and digital graphic statement, explaining the image's position with regards to the social, political, environmental or technological issues it raises.
