Who is the guest and who is the host? And where? Is it in private space or in public space? When does he arrive and how long does he stay? Does he go or stay overnight? What does he bring? What does he leave and what does he take with him on?

The studio will deal with the gap between ethical, unconditional and unlimited hospitality (to give the stranger the whole house and to give him his uniqueness, without asking him for his name, nothing in return and not fulfilling any condition*), and political hospitality, which has many rules (the political sets boundaries, selects his guests, checks passersby, demands that they identify themselves to him before they are admitted, Home, to Polis*).

At a time when the Internet allows us to stay in homes, sleep on couches and drive strangers' cars anywhere in the world (almost) on the basis of openness and trust on the other (based on users' rankings...) and on the other hand, wars, oppression and economic hardship are driving millions of immigrants to new countries in search of a better future, but at the same time arousing manifestations of suspicion, nationalism and racism, it will be interesting to examine, From our perspective as designers, the mitzvah of hospitality which is said (in context to Genesis, Chapter 18) that to be superior from welcoming of the Shechina (Divine spirit).
