Exhibition | The House Question, First Chapter

The School of Architecture, in collaboration with the Department of Photography at Bezalel, invites you to the exhibition "The House Question - First Chapter", 23TS - an exhibition of work from a studio course and a summer seminar in Tokyo 2023.

The exhibition presents a collaboration between students from the School of Architecture and the Department of Photography. The works of all course participants are anchored in similar study content. The work by the students from the School of Architecture was developed mainly through research and planning, and the work by the students from the Department of Photography was mainly developed through visual research and photographic expression. The joint work was an opportunity to formulate an educational pedagogical course with an emphasis on the launching points between the bodies of knowledge and the modes of expression of photography and architecture. And so, if possible and if necessary, some developed their ideas also from a photographic point of view, through the thought of photography and through lenses, while some adopted a focus on the city, architecture, and space.
