Mug Mania | Mug Sale

The Department of Ceramics and Glass Design invites the public to Mug Mania: a special mug sale event.

One of the oldest utensils created by man, the cup has accompanied humanity since antiquity and amassed many meanings. The cup is not only used as a container for drinking, it is an aesthetic and cultural symbol in many places around the world.

The mugs for sale at the event were made and designed by department students, graduates and lecturers. The ceramic and glass mugs were designed using varying techniques.
