Prof. Rutu Modan, has been promoted to the rank of full professor-creator

Prof. Rutu Modan, from the Department of Visual Communication, has been promoted to the rank of full professor-creator. 

Modan is a graduate of and now a lecturer in the Department of Visual Communication, an artist, an illustrator, and an author of comic books.

Prof. Modan is the winner of the Andersen Award and the Eisner Award, four-time winner of the Israel Museum Ben-Yitzhak Award for the Illustration of a Children's Book, and more. The last graphic novel she created, 'Tunnels', was chosen by the New York Times as one of the best graphic novels of 2021.
