The Ministry of Culture Awards in the field of plastic arts for 2022

More than half of the Minister of Culture's awards in the field of plastic arts for 2022 were awarded to graduates of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, including active lecturers.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports has published the names of the artists who have won the recognition award of the Israeli society for creative artists and the fruit of their creation, appreciation for their work, and their contribution to society. 22 artists who graduated and taught at Bezalel won the Minister of Culture's award in the fields of art for 2022.

19 prizes in the fields of plastic arts were awarded to Bezalel graduates and lecturers. Three film awards were given to graduates and lecturers in the Department of Screen-based Arts. The artists were recognized for their groundbreaking works in the fields of fine arts, visual arts, screen arts, design, and photography.

The Minister of Culture’s award in the fields of plastic arts was awarded to:
Gili (Eliyahu) Avisher, graduate of the Fine Arts Department and the Master's Degree Program in Fine Arts
Sagi Azoulai, graduate of the Fine Arts Department and the Master's Degree Program in Fine Arts, and a lecturer at Bezalel
Michal Halfman, graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Bezalel and a lecturer in the department
Rona Yifman, graduate of the Photography Department and the Master's Degree Program in Fine Arts, and a lecturer at Bezalel
Talia (Shalev) Israeli, graduate of the Fine Arts Department and lecturer at Bezalel
Eli Patel, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts and the Master's Program in Fine Arts, lecturer at Bezalel, and former head of the Department of Fine Arts.

The prize for the encouragement of creativity in the fields of plastic arts for 2022 was awarded to the following artists:
Ira Eduardovna, a lecturer in the Department of Photography at Bezalel
Hanita Ilan Ben David, graduate of the Fine Arts Department and the Master's Program in Fine Arts at Bezalel
Oren Hoffman, graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Bezalel
Chen Cohen, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel and the Master's Program in Fine Arts at Bezalel
Neta Laufer, graduate of the Department of Photography at Bezalel
Netali Schlosser, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel
Pini (Pinchas) Leibovich, graduate of the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel

A young artist award was awarded to the following artists:
Uri Zamir, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel
Inbar Hagai, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel
Yelena Rotenberg Ajoko, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts and the Master's Degree Program in Fine Arts at Bezalel
Daniel Oxenberg, graduate ofthe Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel
Maya Aroch, graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel
Assaf Hinden, graduate of the Department of Photography at Bezalel

The cinema art award was awarded to the following artists:
Tal Kantor, graduate and lecturer in the Department of Screen-Based Arts at Bezalel
Dana Goldberg, graduate of the Photography Department at Bezalel

The Hebrew Literary Creation Award was won by:
Tzachi Farber, graduate of and lecturer in the Department of Screen-Based Arts at Bezalel
