Bezalel graduates are the Apple’s Design Award winners

Yuval Markovich, Alon Simon and Oren Rubin, graduates of the Department of Screen-Based Arts have won Apple’s Design Awards in the category of Innovation.

Lost in Play  is an adventure game which tells the story of a brother and sister, Toto and Gal, who navigate the border between reality and imagination. The game contains lots of riddles and mini-games that are suitable for the entire family. Lost in Play  won Apple’s IPad game of the year award. Additionally, the PC and Switch versions were previously nominated for and won many awards.

Game designers, Oren Rubin, Alon Simon and Yuval Markovich, are all graduates of the Department of Screen-Based Arts and are long-time gaming world creators. To that end, they founded the Happy Juice Games studio together. Yuval Markovich teaches games in the Department of Visual Communication and conducts the course entitled “Gaming Lab.” In collaboration with students from the Engineering and Computer Science departments of the Hebrew University, he teaches student developers and creators from the Department of Visual Communication to create experimental and intriguing digital games.

Alon Simon and Naor Chazan composed the music for the game.
