Graduates of the Department of Screen Arts won the Short Film Award at the Jewish Film Festival

Ella Ben Yaakov and Anita Hajadost, graduates of the Department of Screen Arts, won the Best Short Film Award at the Tel Aviv Jewish Film Festival, with their finals' film "Essence". At the center of the film are two Jewish girls living in Iraq and Iran at different times, and who customarily drink tea with their family, each in her own unique way. Threats and riots endanger their lives, forcing them to flee, leave everything behind and immigrate to the State of Israel.
