"Visible Sounds: Interrelationships Among Music, the Visual Arts and the Performing Arts"

he International conference Visible Sounds:Interrelationships among music, dance and the visual arts is a collaboration between Bezalel, Academy of Arts and Design and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
The conference will examine the ways in which different art forms interact, influence each other and combine to form new expressions. An international group of artists and theoreticians will present their methods of approaching creativity and the works that result from exploring interconnections among the arts, with an emphasis on the contemporary.  
The program will include lectures which employ audio and visual examples, panels and live performances, seen through the perspectives of history and philosophy. The conference is open to artists, scholars, teachers, students and the general public.
