Final Project Lab

The final project offers an opportunity to critically explore a specific issue in relation to the challenges that lie at the heart of contemporary urban design practice. Three separate labs are offered: Resilient Landscapes, Historic Urban Preservation and Urban Living (Housing). The lab provides a collaborative framework designed to help students formulate their individual projects through lectures, readings, weekly exercises and group discussions. In the course of the lab, students will be required to define their research questions, become familiar with relevant literature and case studies and select their project site.
