Horizon 2020 project “CONSIDER”

Foreword:

CONSIDER "Sustainable Management of Industrial Heritage as a Resource for Urban Development" aims to develop a sustainable management model (SMM) for industrial heritage sites (IHS) for the benefit of the local communities as a resource for strengthening collective identities, improving the urban landscape, promoting eco-friendly solutions, and contributing to the urban economy and a sustainable future of the city.
The innovative side of this model is in its inclusive approach to the problem (regionally and sectorally, considering gender aspects and its emphasis on the exchange of knowledge, technology, and labour).

The secondment is the most fundamental tool of the project. It aims to build knowledge and exchange it between the project partners. According to this system, the researcher should conduct his research (field study, interviews, etc.) in one of the partner countries abroad. The partner hosts the researcher and supplies his academic needs. Travelling and accommodation are the responsibilities of the researcher. Call:

This proposal is intended for, assistants, lecturers, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. All of whom are interested in developing their research in the field of industrial heritage. The program provides a grant of 2100 euros for each month of research (covering flights, housing, and living) for up to 12 months maximum. The grant can be gifted in whole months, from 1 month for up to 12 months maximum.

Requirements:

• Submitting a short research proposal, which the program coordinator must approve.
• Participants should fill out a monthly report for the research activity for that month.
• Conducting research in the field of Industrial Heritage. The case study should be one of the sites included in the program (as detailed in the attached document).
