Open Call | Student Leadership Workshop for first generation university students

The workshop is intended for third, fourth and fifth-year students at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem who belong to the first generation of their families to attend an institution of higher learning (i.e. their parents did not study at a university or college). The workshop will combine group sessions with critical discussions on issues such as: identity, social status and power relations, academic professionalization and the encouragement of activism.

The workshop begins on June 26, 2024 and will meet three times
Wednesdays | 17:00-21:00

Participants will earn two social credits and may be considered for a scholarship.    

Workshop requirements: full attendance at every meeting and submission of a final project.
