The Bezalel School of Architecture and Salon Liebling invite you to join to a panel discussion as a part of the event series "The Heritage of the Future".

The time we are living in is called „Anthropocene“, the age in which humans are the driving factor of the planet's development. To keep it short: The Anthropocene does not seem to be very resilient. To change that, we have to better understand what kind of architecture shapes the Anthropocene.

In this panel discussion, Prof. Els Verbakel, Head of the School of Architecture, and Prof. Friedrich von Borries invite us to take a look at different phenomena, from the destruction of the planet to attempts to save it, and raise questions and contradictions about flight, life on this earth and coexistence.

Prof. Els Verbakel, Head of the School of Architecture, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem
Prof. Friedrich von Borries, Architecture and design theorist, curator and writer, University of Fine Arts,Hamburg
