Launch event | Exhibition Catalog "Ayelet Carmi and Meirav Heiman: Bliss"
The Master's Program in Policy and Theory of the Arts invites to the Launch event of the Exhibition Catalog "Ayelet Carmi and Meirav Heiman: Bliss".
New Voices from Jerusalem Fellowship is a grant program developed jointly by Jerusalem Culture Unlimited (JCU) and the Master’s Program in Policy and Theory of the Arts at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, to raise new voices and perspectives on behalf of the arts in Jerusalem. Awarded annually to an MA student for writing a catalogue essay, this program provides a platform for emerging voices in the local art field and promotes creative and critical reflection on contemporary art in the region – particularly art created or exhibited in one of Jerusalem’s cultural spaces.
The first grant for 2024–25 was awarded to Dafna Satran for her essay “Lust for the Sky,” written for the exhibition Ayelet Carmi and Meirav Heiman: Bliss at Ticho House, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, curated by Timna Seligman.
The Bezalel Master’s Program in Policy and Theory of the Arts is a research-based academic track that combines curatorial studies with critical theory.
Jerusalem Culture Unlimited (JCU) was founded by Ruth Cummings in 2012 to support and strengthen artists and initiatives across East and West Jerusalem, providing opportunities and resources to enrich Jerusalem’s cultural landscape.
