This message is written in the feminine form but addresses all genders

Following the Civil Service Commissioner's announcement regarding the language of reference in official tenders, contracts, and other documents, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design wishes to clarify that it will continue to use egalitarian gender language in all its publications, in communication with faculty and students, and in learning materials.

Language represents reality and has the power to promote values and bring about change. Bezalel is committed to gender equality and fairness and will continue to work to promote them with all the means at its disposal. Therefore, in accordance with the Equal Opportunities Law, the Academy will continue to publish tenders that appeal to all genders in an equal and respectful manner.

As a sign of protest against the Civil Service Commissioner’s announcement, in the coming month we will use only the female form in various Academy publications.
