Ronen Zien is the winner of the 2023 Lauren and Mitchell Presser Young Israeli Photographer Award

Ronen Zien, who graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Photography and a master's degree from the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel, is the winner of the 2023 Lauren and Mitchell Presser Young Israeli Photographer Award.

Zien, engages in photography, video, and installation, and his artistic practice includes analog and digital photography. He challenges the medium of photography as a concept and as a technique. Among the main motives in his works are questions and positions in relation to the local landscape and the Druze society. Zien has presented his work in both solo and group exhibitions in galleries throughout the country.
