Bezalel Lights up in Blue and White

Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem is lighting up this evening its Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Campus in the heart of Jerusalem in the colors of the flag of the State of Israel, as a sign of solidarity and support for the defence and rescue forces, and for all citizens and residents of the State of Israel who are suffering continuous hostilities.

This activity is part of the initiative "Academia Illuminates Israel" in cooperation with 30 academic institutions throughout the country.

Bezalel strengthens the members of its community who have been mobilized to the reserves and are working day and night to restore safety and those who are helping provide civil assistance. We mourn the residents of the State of Israel and the members of our community who have lost their loved ones. Blessed be their memory.

Bezalel was established in Jerusalem in 1906. During its 117 years of existence, the Academy has faced many wars and challenges. We will also survive these difficult days of crisis, together, as a cohesive community with a desire for life.
