Hadas Maor is the winner of the Curator’s Award from the Ministry of Culture and Sport

Hadas Maor, a senior lecturer in the Master of Arts Program is the winner of the 2023 Curator’s Award from the Ministry of Culture and Sport.

The treasurer’s award is intended to express appreciation and recognition for the work of the professional curator, who works to preserve and improve the collection he/she is in charge of, promotes research, and encourages the exposure of the collection and its presentation to the public.

The reasons for the selection: "The course of her work as a curator presents a distinct thematic line characterized by an intellectual and poetic reading of the Israeli art field, while identifying and presenting the connections between young artists and that of well-known and established artists."

Minister of Culture and Sport Miki Zohar: "I would like to congratulate Hadas Maor, curator of contemporary art, for winning the 2023 Curator's Award. Maor has left a significant mark through her works, characterized by placement in space, with a minimalist and polished line, and she is considered one of the most prominent and valued curators in Israel. I revere her work and wish her continued fruitful activity."
