Perla Sibani, a graduate of the Department of Jewelry and Fashion, is the winner of the PIERRE CARDIN competition, Paris.

Over 90 students from 3 universities applied for this competition and finally 7 finalists were chosen to fly to Paris and participate in a workshop with the PIERRE CARDIN designers. As part of the prize, Sibani was accepted for an internship with PIERRE CARDIN for three months.

Sibani describes the process: "In the first step, here in Israel I was required to illustrate designs inspired by PIERRE CARDIN and send them to Paris. All of the finalists flew to Paris for the workshop and on the first day we were asked to show them the portfolio and design other things inspired by PIERRE CARDIN for 3 hours and everything was done in 2D. On the second day, we were even invited to the fashion show during the Paris fashion week, and it was an amazing experience. On the third day, they invited us to lunch and announced the winner - which was me.'
