Yuval Naor, graduate of the Department of Photography, wins 2024 Israel Makov Most Promising Artist Award

Yuval Naor, a graduate of the Department of Photography, is the winner of the 2024 Israel Makov Most Promising Artist Award. The prize honors significant artistic achievements that embody great future potential. It includes a NIS 20,000 cash prize for a solo exhibition at the next FreshPaint Art & Design Fair. 

The committee noted the multiples layers that exist in Naor’s photographic work, describing the results as “much more than just photographs.” 

Members of the judging committee: Revital Ben Asher Peretz, cultural affairs adviser to the Mayor of Tel Aviv and Shulamit Nuss, curator of the Discount Bank Collection and the Israel Makov Collection.
