The Career Development Center at Bezalel and the “Bezalel in the City” Program, in partnership with the Jerusalem Municipality, are pleased to invite students and graduates from all departments and degree programs at academies and colleges of art, design, and architecture in Jerusalem to take part in Bezalel’s third Bitrei Zuzei Fair, ahead of the Shavuot holiday 2026.

The Fair will take place at the Bezalel Campus on Monday, 18.5.26, from 15:00 until 21:00. All display tables, chairs, and electrical cables will be supplied by Bezalel. Electrical products may not be sold at the Fair.

Who Can Apply?

Undergraduates (second year and up), graduate students, and graduates from all departments and degrees in the academies and colleges of design in Jerusalem, who have or are able to create original, hand-made or self-produced art and design items.

Participation is open to those who are registered, or intend to register, with the Israel Tax Authority (ITA) as self-employed business owners above or below the VAT threshold (osek murshe, osek patur, respectively).

A “How to Open a Business” workshop will be held in advance of the fair, where participants who have not yet done so will be able to register with the ITA as an osek murshe or osek patur, based on their income level.

Booth cost: 100 NIS to subsidize the fair’s expenses.

A jury of senior designers will select the best proposals for participation in the fair.

Eligibility Requirements

Quality – Items must be of high quality and finish

Quantity – A minimum of 25 items (varied or identical)

Availability – Items must be ready by 11.5.26

Items must be made from non-toxic and non hazardous materials; no electrical devices.

Participants must be physically present and take an active role in the selling aspect as part of their training on the topic of employment for designers
