Tuition
Guidelines for tuition fees for the 2021-2022 academic year
Bezalel’s tuition fees are determined by the Council for Higher Education and are equivalent to the tuition fees set for all Israel’s public universities.
The full tuition fee for a bachelor’s degree in the 2021-2022 academic year based on the consumer price index of July 2021 stood at NIS 14,042. The exact tuition fee is linked to the consumer's price index on the date of actual tuition payments and so may vary a little from time to time.
In addition, in accordance with governmental directives, tuition fees at institutions of higher education in Israel for bachelor’s degree students are to be subsidized. In the academic year 2020-2021, therefore the tuition fee for a bachelor's degree has been set at 10,198 NIS (with the subsidy). The subsidy does not apply to students in Master’s degree programs.
Furthermore, according to the directives of the Planning & Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education, in the event that the Bezalel Academy does not receive the government's coverage for the aforementioned governmental subsidy, students will have to pay the full tuition fee difference as noted above.
International students, as well as Israeli students receiving full or partial financing in the context of labor agreements or wage agreements between employees and employers, or in the context of institutionalized, government, or other public financing, will pay a tuition fee that is 25% higher than the full tuition fee (this extra percentage will not apply to recipients of the military release deposit funds and to students financed by the Ministry of Absorption).
