Exhibition | Kudüs-i Sherif: A View at Jerusalem from Istanbul

The Master’s program in Urban Design invites the public to the exhibition Kudüs-i Sherif: A View at Jerusalem from Istanbul. The exhibition features documents, drafts, and photos from the Prime Minister’s Archives in Istanbul (Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi), identified by scholars from the Kadir Has University, Istanbul, as part of Bezalel’s Jerusalem Archives Project. The findings outline the renewal of the city in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and shed a new light on the development of Kudüs-i Sherif, Ottoman Jerusalem. The project is supported by the Jerusalem Development Authority.
