Between the Drops | School of Architecture

Date:
11.1.23

The School of Architecture, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Bernard Van Leer Foundation, is pleased to invite you to a conference on the design of environments that support early childhood throughout the country, along with the launch of a guide to design principles for family health centers in Israel.

As part of the Ministry of Health's efforts to promote a revolution in the early years of life, an important platform for action, the “Between the Drops” project brings to the forefront the importance of the physical space of the branches themselves and their surroundings.

With the power of conscious architecture and in-depth urban reference, the aim is to strengthen and transform the "Milk Drop" stations into a space that not only provides treatment and counseling services, but also improves and strengthens these services through a proper and sensitive space, building scale, and urban context.

This project seeks to shed light on the typology of "Milk Drop" branches in Israel, an enterprise with an impressive and special heritage of support and collective help in promoting early childhood health, equal opportunities for proper development and providing information and assistance to the family as an integral part of the successful raising of children.

The event is open to the public.
