Portfolio | Interview with Hadas Maor: Generosity is a key word
"In general, beyond the theoretical dimension, I think about curating in a way that is close to choreography, and I am deeply immersed in thinking about the presence of the body in space. The body of the viewer, its movement in the display space, and the vibrating tension created between it and the body of the artistic object, or the lack thereof. I have an unequivocal preference for process work with artists, for developing works into a specific space and context. I am captivated by the journey, which is different every time, from a conceptual starting point to material development and realization in space, and accompanies the artists with whom I work closely in all stages of the work. By the way, these aspects are also very present in my teaching in the master's degree program at Bezalel."
Hadas Maor, senior lecturer in the master's degree program in fine arts, in an interview with Yuval Sa'ar from "Portfolio" magazine, in which she talks about her path in the world of curation, the guidelines that motivate her to curate exhibitions, and the experience of studying in the master's degree program in fine arts.
