Yafit Pinto, Achiya Arbiv and Guy Yossef Jazrin are the winners of the Andy Prize 2.0 2026
The Andy Prize 2.0 in memory of Andrea Morrison Bronfman is awarded to students of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem who have excelled in craft-oriented disciplines which Andy loved so much, including glass, ceramics, jewelry, accessories and shoes.
The Cohen family generously decided to double the Andy Prize 2.0 to $10,000 for each of the 3 recipients, making it the largest as well as the most prestigious prize in its field.

A man in a suit chasing power and control, losing himself in a world of gambling where tomorrow doesn't exist and the pursuit never ends.
In this project, I choose to focus on the compulsive gambler, who walks on the thin line between the sweetness of victory and the crushing weight of defeat. A fast-paced trip of egomania, laced with anxiety, stress, and physical restlessness. The flashing lights of the
casino blur all self-awareness, a high of excitement mixed with fear, leading to a sudden, brutal crash. Through this collection, I translated the extreme characteristics and visual language of the gambling world into garments that embody the tension between the peak and the abyss.
The man who began in a sharp, tailored suit with a puffed-out chest, ends with his tail between his legs.

Yafit Pinto, 'Configurations', The Department of Ceramics and Glass Design
Configurations is a series of porcelain objects that evolved from the exploration of a single form. Each object is constructed from thin porcelain units that are repeated and assembled into a unique three-dimensional structure. Through subtle changes in proportion, scale, and the relationships between the units, a shared formal language gradually emerged. The repetitive act of making, inspired by craft and textile practices, became an essential part of the work, leading me to discover a visual language that had already been present in my practice.

Outstanding Achievement in Glass Design
Achiya Arbiv, 'The Vitreous Interval', The Department of Ceramics and Glass Design
The work stems from the intermediate, vacant space between my identities, the interval between architecture, design, and glassblowing. I speak with glass in terms of space. Glassblowing serves as a medium for my Vitruvian inquiry: Who am I? Why do I create? This vitreous vernacular construction reflects notions of material, identity, and joinery. Three vitreous spaces activate the spatial intervals around, between, and within them. Designed on a human scale, they invite a primal encounter with glass's wondrous, paradoxical characteristics.
