Animation artist and lecturer.
Specializes in experimental animation works, alternative animation processes, site specific animation, and projects that combine dance and animation on stage and screen. Works in collaboration with animators and choreographers.
Among her award-winning works: an animated installation screened on the beach, an animated research of the Israel Museum's catalogue archive, a dance piece in which she runs a magical animation box, a stage work for musicians dancers and a screen, an animated film that tells the story of an actor experiencing an anxiety attack, and more.
Artistic director of Beit Avi Chai's "A Face. A Day. A Memory". Serves as a mentor, artistic consultant and lector in animation funds and hubs - Copro, The Jerusalem film&television Fund and more.
Osi was part of the animation team of "Waltz with Bashir" and "The Congress" directed by Ari Pullman, worked as an animator in Nir and Gali's "Nine Souls", in children's series, and in many other projects.
Graduate of the Department of Animation at Bezalel with honours. B.Sc. in Physics and Math from the Hebrew University Jerusalem, as part of “Amirim” Special honours program in Natural science.
Amitay Yaish Ben-Ousilio, Tel Aviv
Actor, director and interdisciplinary creator combining art and social entrepreneurship. Amitay is a member of Mifal HaPais - Lottery Arts Council, and the Chairman of the Performing Arts Committee. He is also a Lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. In the past he established and managed Factory Bat Yam - an artist residency program interacting within the surrounding community. Amitay was the Artistic Director of ‘the International Street Theater Festival’ Bat Yam. He was also the founder and creative director of Nissui Kellim festival, developing new interactions between different art forms. Amitay is also an active theater and movie actor, currently acting in the Oscar nominated feature film ‘Incitement’ by Yaron Zilberman and in the award-winning play ‘The Hearing’ by Renana Raz. Amitay is a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts Beit Zvi.
Maya Zack (B. 1976, Israel) is a visual artist and filmmaker.
Her work ties together themes of memory, history, documentation, reconstruction and metaphysics.
Zack is a lecturer in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem.
She is a graduate of Bezalel, Academy of Art and Design, Fine Art Department, Jerusalem 2000 .B.F.A Magna Cum Laude.
She studied at the Tel Aviv University 2008-12 and in Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee Student Exchange Program.
Zack's work have earned a list of film awards and art prizes and is represented in public and private art collections.
