Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem's new academic year has begun amid the challenges and consequences of the war. We reflect on the resilience we have maintained over the past two years—through war, trauma, antisemitism, boycotts, and societal upheaval—and state our belief that art and design must play a central role in shaping our future. 

This is a time to restore hope, going beyond recovery. It is a time when art and design must provide direction to a more thoughtful, compassionate, and forward-looking reality for us all. 

In this critical moment, we emerge more determined than ever to fulfil our mission: nurturing the next generation of leaders in art and design who share our values and will catalyse meaningful, relevant change.

To support our mission, we are launching our 2025-26 Annual Fund Campaign, building strength and relevance, and empowering Bezalel’s students to be engaged leaders and creative problem-solvers.

Every contribution strengthens the foundation that allows Bezalel to operate in this way:

• Maintaining world-class faculty and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to enhance learning excellence.
